Russian Helicopters holding and Turkey’s Kaan Air signed an agreement on supply of three Ka-32A11BC helicopters at the Eurasia Airshow in Antalya, Turkey, press service of the Russian company said on Thursday.
“According to the document, all the three helicopters will be supplied in 2018. These helicopters are planned for firefighting operations,” TASS reports quoting a statement made by the Russian holding as saying.
Ka-32A11BC is a medium-class multirole helicopter intended for firefighting, search and rescue operations, evacuation of patients and victims, as well as for patrolling and support of operations of law enforcement agencies. It is in service in Russia, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, China and other countries.
