Airbus Helicopters has received two new orders from customers in Japan, the company announced on 7 February.
The first contract is with Excel Air Services for a Helionix-equipped H135 helicopter. The helicopter will be used for electronic news gathering missions. It will join Excel’s growing Airbus fleet currently comprising an AS355N, AS350 B2, AS350 B3 and a Hermès-designed H135.
The second contract was signed with Hokkaido Government for the supply of one AS365 N3+helicopter. The AS365 N3+ will be used for rescue missions and supporting activities in the Hokkaido prefecture.
