Airbus Helicopters has delivered the fifth and final H135 to the German Federal Office of armed forces Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support, the company announced on 12 June.
The helicopter will be used by the German armed forces in Bückeburg to train pilots. The five H135s join 14 others from the H135 family, which have been in service at the Bundeswehr since 2000 for pilot training.
H135 is a lightweight, twin-engine helicopter used by military forces to train their personnel. The helicopter can also perform a wide range of missions including emergency medical services, law enforcement, corporate transport and maintenance of offshore wind farms.
